    On Senior Day, at the last home match in 2014 for the Suffern Mounties, they came away victorious against the two Clarkstown Schools. Suffern first beat North 56-18 and then avenged last years loss to South with a 54-24 victory.

    The seniors and their parents were honored with shirts for the Dads and Roses for the moms before the matches.

    Two big wins for Suffern tonight were Peter Pjetri defeating South’s Auwarter 6-1 and Tryick Jackson’s win against South’s Mauer 9-8. Daiton Powell had two big wins for Suffern along with Brian Nicpon, Jason Bottamedi, and Mike Koodin.

    Suffern will be in action Saturday Jan. 25th at Warwick High School starting at 9 am

  2. Congrats Suffern on taking it to the Clarkstown teams. I was very impressed with the progress your upperweights have made and look forward to a great county tournament next week. Clarkstown South defeated Clarkstown North the 2nd match of the tri meet 51-29. Lockey, Diaz, Auwarter, Maurer, Fortugno, and Holahan all received forfiets for South. Moiseau, Helalat and Alvarado all earned wins on the mat for South. Kutsma, Hong, Fields, Henry, Rein and Crispino won on the mat for North.

  4. Am I missing something? on

    Is there another tournament in section one today? Why are the worst officials in section 1 at the super 16? I know it’s not what it used to be, but this is a joke. There is no other tournaments in the area to the best of my knowledge
