Weekend tourney schedule

There are several local tournaments going on this weekend, with a lot of exciting matchups in the works. I’ll be at the Kohl Invitational at Suffern on Saturday, but I’ll be reporting info on all of the tourneys, so follow me on Twitter @vzmercogliano for updates (and send them to me if you’re at any of the other tourneys).

30TH ANNUAL BEACON TOURNAMENT
Teams: Arlington, Beacon, Byram Hills, Carmel, Clarkstown North, John Jay, Ketcham, North Salem, Ossining, Port Chester, Tappan Zee, Kingston, Saugerties, Valley Central and Washingtonville.
Format: Individual weight classes
Start time: 4 p.m. on Friday; 9 a.m. on Saturday
Approximate finals time: 1:30 p.m. on Saturday

KOHL INVITATIONAL AT SUFFERN
Teams: East Ramapo, Hen Hud, Nyack, Sleepy Hollow, Somers, Suffern, White Plains, Bethpage, Garden City, Huntington, Monroe-Woodbury and Port Jervis.
Format: Individual weight classes
Start time: 9:30 a.m. on Saturday
Approximate finals time: 4 p.m.

32ND ANNUAL EDGEMONT PANTHER INVITATIONAL
Teams: Croton-Harmon, Dobbs Ferry, Eastchester, Edgemont, Horace Mann (Private), Mamaroneck, Monticello (Sec 9), Mount Vernon, New Fairfield (CT), Pearl River, Rye, Salesian (CHSAA), Scarsdale, Stony Brook School (Sec 11), Tuxedo (Sec 9), Westlake, Woodlands and Yonkers.
Format: Individual weight classes
Start time: 9 a.m. on Saturday
Approximate finals time: 6 p.m.

THE IRVINGTON TOURNAMENT
Teams: Hastings, Horace Greeley, Irvington, John Jay B, North Salem, Pleasantville, Port Chester, Sleepy Hollow, Monroe-Woodbury B and Xavier.
Format: Round robin
Start time: 9 a.m. on Saturday
Approximate finals time: 3 p.m.

THE CONKLIN MEMORIAL TOURNAMENT AT NANUET
Teams: Clarkstown South, Nanuet, North Rockland B, Babylon (LI), Mt. Anthony’s (Vermont) and Seaford (LI).
Format: Dual meets
Start time: 9 a.m. on Saturday
Approximate finals time: N/A
