not that it matters all that much…

Match is 48-30 Horace Greeley (Greeley gets 24 from forfeits at 120,138,152,160; Croton gets 6 for 106) without forfeits its a 24-24 tie with each side winning 5 bouts. Varsity and modified combined for the Greeley Senior Night pretty nice job done by Greeley, fun event for the youngster, hopefully helps the future of both programs.

have seen similar things done in Lacrosse with with the border wars where they try to set up games for all levels on the same weekend. Really like that idea get the whole community involved.

  2. So what weight is the older Dillon going? 138 for a good final against Longo or 145? Probably do better at states at 38

  3. There is no easier at states. I mean if you’re an all-state guy and there are 5 all-state guys at 138 and 8 at 145 then yeah 145 is tougher. But if you are a guy hoping to make some noise there is no easy weight to do that at. Every weight has at least 6 very goord wrestlers at the state level. Very good on a state level. If Dillon wants a championship he will weigh-in at 145. If he wants to go light and hope for the best he goes 138. I think he is going to go 145 seeing as he hasn’t won a section title yet right ?

  4. Easier is not a good choice of words. It can be a complicated choice. Is your goal to win a sectional title and you know that at a higher weight you cant compete as well at the state level. Then go win your title and go 2 and out at Albany. Some people have different personal goals.

Maybe you believe your style is better suited to the lower weight. Maybe your goal is to take on the better guy at the lower weight, believing that you can win and compete at states if you lose, have a decent shot at a wild card, again with a better chance to compete at states.
