Great coverage Sir.
Any team scores ?
cya
Looks like its still a pretty good tournament to me. Delacruz.. way to go, looked like it was some exciting finals. Anyone know if MSG varsity was covering it?? The finals anyway ? Actually not too shabby in the finals for Ardsley. In the finals lol you had Jimenez(SH) and Longo in a battle, think it was Longo by twom, maybe 6-4, Longo won a close one, Samolsky over Barsuch 4-1 big on the D2 level, becosme fell to Pastore in semis, Pastore looses in OT to Russo of Horace Mann, and then superheavy dancing match into sudden death to close out the night. Could have been worse. And a little OT scrap between two 8th grade 99lbers to start the finals… Not bad for little league
Sounds like great tournament Ardsley had few good matches but best one was Longo vs Jiminez Longo winning 6-5 match could of went either way but man that match was very, very, very good, impressed with both wrestlers. Jiminez much improved.
Impressed by the field at Shoreline. Watched last half of quarters and most of the semis. Great to see new team entries sharpening our skills.
Sam Melikian is very talented, excited to see him down the line. Matt Grippi continues to improve, scary to think he’s only a 7th grader. I really thought he wouldn’t get past Errico, and for him to also beat Rodriguez.. WOW. Great showing for TZ as well. Very proud of all Section I teams.
mcdermott bumped up to 152 so i can see him at least making finals at 145. What do you think vinny?
Joker, it all depends on what he gets seeded. If he’s seeded on Grippis side he will not make the finals.
Delacruz just dominated this tournament. I was excited to see a Muldoon/Delacruz matchup, but I’m not sure it will be as exciting as everybody hopes.
Any word about how North Rockland did in the U-E Duals!
Sect 1 A, I think he could beet Grippi, it would be a good match and he has vs him before and by 1 in last periohe got taken down.
