I’ll be at Nanuet today for one of the more highly anticipated dual meets of the season. The D2 champs will host D1 dual meet champ North Rockland, and there should be a bunch of really competitive and intriguing matches. It’s conceivable that Nanuet will give the Red Raiders more of a scare than any D1 team has so far. For live updates, follow me on Twitter @vzmercogliano.

Vince,

Other possible matchups today
132 realbuto vs Erickson brew vs som

145 murphy vs McDermott rck vs hh
126 delacruz vs giron OSS vs pc
152 marvin vs pearlmutter rck vs hh
Looks like a good day for wrestling, 7-10 good individual matches. And 3-4 close team matches
McDermott got beat by Jiminez from sleepy who bumped up and handled him. Delacruz wins easily. Koshkow easily, Realbuto easily.
Koshkow won on a questionable call in 4ot the first meeting, u think he wins easily this time
Jimenez did not “handle” McDermott. It was 4-1 and Jimenez stalled the whole time he was on bottom.
old skool,
the call was in no way “questionable”- if you actually watched the match it was clear. I do take koshakow in this, but it won’t be in anyway “easy”
The ref initially ruled miller had the reversal and the win, then was overruled by the clock operator. What more do you need to be considered questionable?? The 1/2 a second was too much time to be considered questionable in your mind.
D1,
I’m just a fan see it the way I did I saw jiminez take him down with ease, saw him turn him and he’s a weight class below so if you want to say he stalled 3rd period ok so Jiminez handled him for 4 mins of the match. My point is McDermott returning Sectional place finisher lost to smaller wrestler that didn’t place! Good Luck
Ossining 46 -28
Jimenez handled mcDermott on his feet because mcDermott is terrible on his feet. Jimenez stalling or not would have looked so because mcDermott is strong on top. That’s his game mat wrestling, jimenez wants to be on his feet
Also Ossining wasn’t at irvington, interesting comment
Nanuet loses by 9. Thought it would be a 10pt match. North rock missing Blaise, nanuet missing Skokos which is a shame someone couldn’t keep that kid on track. Also another spot for Dillon to wrestle a big match and he goes a different weight. Wonder what weight he will go at sectionals, not 138 with Longo there, thinking 145 is somewhat safe
glad 2 see that Erickson keeps Realbuto on his toes…....
also…..Ridethewave “Realbuto easily.” not so sure it was so easy. Erickson is one of the only wrestlers that gives Realbuto a run and has the Ba@##^ to do it.
Ossining beat port chester
