Vin see above semi scores as well
Proud of the showing by the Croton Tigers, hoping for a top 5, finished 6th missed a trophy but hopefully they still know they did very well. Twice as many points as any other D2 school in attendance, keep it rolling into the post-season.
See you Monday boys

Why were Valley Central and Center Moriches in the Super 16 Tournament? I thought the Super 16 was an all Westchester or Section I tournament. Coulldn’t they find two more teams that were at least as “super” as Mt. Vernon?
Yeah take away two of the top 5 teams in the tournament, see whats left. few reason why this tournament has gone downhill, worst weekend of the year to hold a tournament. They moved divisionals up a week. Super 16 used to be 2 weeks before post season, now Its week before. Another reason, people are tired of seeing the same teams, and last is with so many tournaments this has become just another tournament. Rockland champs have first problem. But there are only 3 tournaments all yr held in rockland, rcc, kohl, n.rock. it isnt just another tournament.
Also take in to consideration teams such as Carmel, Ossinning, Harrison, MV, Ardsley Westlake used to be strong teams in this field and would make it a difficult tournament. Also JJCR won this tournament a few times back when they were a powerhouse.
Where were these teams? Somers, new rochelle, brewster.
In addition to moving up the post season a few years back, There was a competition cut from the schedules. Each team had to remove one tournament. Many chose this one.
No tournaments were cut, 2 duals were cut.
