Why is realbuto at 160?
Big boy,
He said he was just going 160 for today. He confirmed that he’ll be at 152 for sectionals.
Great job by Y’Town. Time to start peaking.
By the way…does Varian always end up in 3-2the OT matches? BIG win for the BIG kid.
how does realbuto manage his weight, wasnt he at 182 for a duel meet this thursday? all the way to 160?
Dazzle where he weighs in is what matters.
yeah he only needed to weigh 162.01 then he qualifies for 170 can bump to 182 (162 because its +2 now)
Croton wins its our tournament, beating Sleepy in final in a tie-break and avenging an early-season loss to Irvington. After a 3pt loss early in the year Croton turned things around and beat an Irvington team with DiNardo back in the lineup by a comfortable margin.
Solid day of wrestling at Edgemont. Just a couple of interesting matches:
113 Semi-Final: Muldoon dec. Hodges 3-1.
113 Final: Aslanian pin Muldoon 0:34
152 Semi-Final: Miller dec. Solis
152 Final: Miller dec. Porter
182 Final: Berkowitz maj. dec. Mold 14-0
At 138, Seims bumped up to take First.
1st: Edgemont
2nd: Scarsdale
3rd: Horace Mann
Suffern highest placing sec 1 team in own tourney, croton wins there own tournament, so does edgemont. Home field advantage in wrestling is alot better than the NFL. Go gmen
Vince, when are you putting your rankings up?
Nanuet wins own Tournament as well.
How did the Skokos kid do?
He placed second to Stramiello from pine bush lost 8-6 Skokos pinned everyone else good match.
REright,
The rankings are just about good to go, I just wanted to make some last minute alterations based on the results from this weekend that have been coming in. They’ll be up by Wednesday.
Although the Shen tournament was never listed, Brewster took 2nd and had three first place finishers….Mike Parise, Kyle Macaplin and Liam Erickson….way to go boys!
Vince,
Since many teams have their last tournaments this weekend prior to Divisonals and Sectionals , why not hold off on posting your rankings till after this weekend. By waiting a few more days you will get the most accurate pre-Divsional rankings . Why jump the gun when we have one more big weekend left . How about you put it up for a vote among your loyal blog readers ?
PS- Will you post seeds for the Super 16 this week as you did last year ?
if he posts rankings and some guys beat other guys at rockland championships / super 16 you’ll just know that there is some moving parts, not a big deal, the rankings arent seeds, divisionals could show more than rankings, and sectionals is all that matters
the best beat the rest (thats mine don’t use it)
It’s a fest when you beat the best !
You need the rest to beat the best !
If you beat the best, you can leave the nest !
If I beat the rest, then beat the best, I promice you I’ll be a pest !
These are mine, though I doubt any one will use em :p
cya lol
Vince…how about posting info on divisonals §ionals now, so we know the when and where. It would be good to do it now not after they are over so fans can go watch.
By the time we get any info from The Urinal News the events r near history.
Pretty sure he already posted it. Maybe you read so slow that it’s over before you’re done.
