Wednesday’s schedule is extremely light, but Thursday will be the final day before the holidays in which we’ll have a full slate of dual meets. I’m debating which I want to cover: Nanuet at North Rockland, or Clarkstown South at Tappan Zee. Leave your thoughts below on which you’d rather see me cover…

don’t know about all these tech falls in close matches. the days of 6pts for a tech are over, and if you team has 3 guys tech a kid and you lose by a point or two its going to feel horrible, if you can take a kid down 10 times expose him a few times, you should be able to finish him and get that 6th point
B-tron you a right. Pin to win as Gene Mills would say!
Clarkstown North with only one guy after 160 and he catches one of the top heavies in the section, tough way to go down. School with over what 1100-1200 kids whatever qualifies for AA and they can’t fill a lineup, football coaches are ruining wrestling, not sure what else it could be. You would think the MMA boom would boost the popularity of wrestling a little, but doesn’t look so.
blog, fox lane had that match in the bag already. notice no speno, no ettinger, good to get work in a match you cant lose as a team. If that match is against an elite team they look for the pin. I hear what you are saying though.
Blog,
Its tough to wrestle with a silver spoon in your mouth and a remote in your hand. LOL
COVER NANUET/NORTH ROCKLAND.
Nanuet/ North Rokland seems to be the better of the 2. A rematch between Blase and Skokos and Caputo and Calvano should be seen.
state rankings were released yesterday, fox lane 4th in the state. No other section 1 teams ranked. I doubt they knew brewster beat them, the next rankings you will probably see fox lane ranked 15th no other section 1 teams ranked.
State rankings are worth less than the paper they are printed on.
