We don’t have any new results to give you tonight, but tomorrow should be a big day. Jared will be at the North Rockland tournament, while I’ll be at the Mahopac tournament. Both will feature some of the top Section 1 teams, as well as some of the strongest teams from around the state. (Defending Section 9 champ Warwick will be at NR, while defending state champ Rocky Pointe will be in Mahopac.)
It should make for an exciting day, and we’ll be back tomorrow night with blog posts updating results and relaying our impressions.

I believe Fox Lane is the team to win the division 1 section title this season
Just wanted to contribute some results from last night… Last night White Plains wrestled at the Horace Mann Triangular and went 3-0. In our first match we took on Stuyvesant and beat them handily.. then, in the match of the night, we wrestled the very tough host school Horace Mann. The dual meet featured some spectacular matches in which our boys picked up huge pins and an overtime victory by Uriel Garcia to seal a 36-32 victory over a very respectable program. After the upset victory we kept the momentum rolling and earned a 50-20 victory over Madison. We are a young and inexperienced team but we wrestle with heart, guts, and a will to win. I’m proud as heck of the boys.

Congrats Marc. Im disappointed in the JN. Zero mention, let alone coverage of the Mamaroneck Tournament. If your going to do a job, do it correctly.
