I was just surfing around on intermatwrestle.com, and I spotted two familiar names in their top 20 for each weight class.
Fox Lane senior Steven Rodrigues, my top wrestler to watch heading into this season, is ranked 17th at 130 lbs.
And Somers junior Brian Realbuto is ranked 18th at 119 lbs., but coach Dennis DiSanto told me that Realbuto has put on some bulk this offseason and should be wrestling at 135.
With both Rodrigues and Realbuto considered to be the top contenders in Section 1 in their respective weight classes, my question to you is who are the top wrestlers in the rest of the weight classes?

I think you all underestimate jacob berkowitz at 189.
he should certainly be in the top 3
Bison1 I seen him this weekend and I was very impressed with. I would not be shocked if he finished in the top 3 @ pace.
look at the 3 names i listed @89 who is he beating there? what has berkowitz done in his career hes never been all section all those kids have. he’s maybe 5-6 at best, wyatt gilchrist beat him last year at sectionals too so there 4 guys who DESERVE to be ranked above him
Ranked ahead of him ok but if you r so oldskool you would know that a 11th grader in wrestle backs is a whole lot more dangerous than a 12th grader who was ranked 1 or 2. So that’s why I would not be shocked if he took 3rd.
wildcat, i was talking to bison who said he should be ranked top 3. also with wrestlebacks that was the old way. now we have wild cards so a kid has reason the wrestle back. 2 3rds in section has been enough to get kids a wild card in some cases.
