The New York Public High School Athletic Association has entered into a partnership with TicketLeap, a Philadelphia-based company, to sell state championship tickets online. Fans can now purchase tickets with a credit card, which I believe was not possible before. You can also avoid waiting in ticket lines, although I don’t recall seeing any massive lines to get high school state championship tickets. Still, for those who are compulsive planner-aheaders, it’s a convenient option.
To buy tickets to state championship events visit nysphsaa.ticketleap.com.
One big caveat—the site doesn’t offer wrestling tickets. Don’t ask me why. Boy’s basketball and hockey aren’t available either. That may be a temporary thing. If you’re gung-ho about buying online then check back in a few days. Hopefully wrestling will be an option soon, if not this week then by next year.
